Program Details

This lab serves as an introduction to the phenomenon of fluorescence and its applications in biotechnology. Students will explore fluorescence using the molecule fluorescein, a common dye used in many highlighters. They will also explore the fluorescence of different highlighters and at least one non-fluorescent marker as a control.
